Kola Akomolede & Co was registered in 1987 and started operations in 1999, when our principal partner, Chief Kola Akomolede, left Government Service. It is therefore a very young firm in terms of age of the firm itself. However, our Principal Partner is a very seasoned Estate Surveyor and Valuer with over 34 years experience which covers all aspects of the profession.
Our Head Office is strategically located at Kofo Abayomi Street Victoria Island, Lagos, which provides easy access to most of our valuable clients, who reside and work in the high brow Ikoyi, Victoria Island and the business centres of Lagos Island. Our offices are fully equipped with modern communication facilities and internet connection.
We have a branch office located on the Lagos mainland at Opic Plaza, which covers our services outside the Lagos metropolis and the southern area of the country. This office is also fully equipped with the latest communication technology including internet connection.
Our Abuja branch is located along Herbert Macualay Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja which serves the Federal Capital Territory and the northern parts of the country. This office is also fully up to date with modern communication facilities.
Chief Akomolede is a fellow of the Nigerian Institution for Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He holds a BSc in Estate Management with Second Class Upper Honours from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife (1978). He also attended the University of Reading UK, where he obtained a Masters degree in Urban Land Appraisal in 1983. He is a member of the Rating and Valuation Association of England and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
His over 32 years experience in the profession both in the public and private sectors of the economy has adequately prepared him to take on any job of any magnitute anywhere in the world. He is widely travelled, and is frequently invited to give papers at National and International Conferences. He has been the National Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers as well the Secretary General of the association of Housing and Corporation of Nigeria.
He is a member of Island Club Lagos, Rotary Club of Ikoyi and Ikoyi Club 1938, where he has been the premises Adviser twice.
Mr. Ayo Adeoshun – The Abuja office Branch Manager is also a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained a B.SC, 2nd class lower in Estate Management in 1995. He is a registered member of the Nigerian Institution Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He has had all his working experience in the city of Abuja and the north. He is therefore very conversant with the property market and values in Abuja and the entire north. This is why we have made him our Abuja branch office Manager.
Mrs. Toluwalope Dima-Okojie – A First Class Graduate of Estate Management from the Convenant University with a Masters of Science from Imperial College London. She has had working experience with Knight Frank and Jide Taiwo & Co. She has had a successful career at Unilever Nig. Plc and Unilever South Africa, PTY, as a brand manager before joining our firm.
Miss. Omotola Olu – A Graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Minna where she obtained a B. Tech 2nd class honours (Upper Division) in Estate Management. She is an associate and registered member of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and a graduate member of Nigerian Institute if Management (NIM).
Mr. Mayowa Ogendijo – A diploma holder and part-time (Final year) student of Estate Management of the University of Lagos.
Other Staff: In addition to abpove permanent professional staff, we also have temporary staff like National Youth Service Corpers (NYSC) and students on industrial training from the Universities and Ploytechnics besides the supporting staff of secretaries, clerks, office attendants and drivers.
